The club is now 80 years years old, having been originally formed in 1923, and currently has 150 members who take part in many forms of cycling - including time trialling; mountain biking, road racing, audax and social events.

A Giant FloaterThe club is based in Cardington village, 6 miles South of Bedford, with many of the Club events being held in the shadow of the giant airship hangars - famous for the building of the R101 airship and  the 'Skyship' series of airship.

The 2003 Evening League Series begins on May 8th, in previous years there up to 50 riders contest each of the series of 14 events - alternating between 10 & 11.5 miles - although it appears most of the riders only come out in summer - perhaps they hibernate from the end of August until May - who knows ?

First Club Event - Early season Leg Stretcher - Saturday 1st February

First SPOCO Event  - Sunday 23rd February

See 2003 Club Calendar for Details....
